Parkville Women's Clinic was recently voted the 2024 Non-Profit of the Year by the Parkville Area Chamber & EDC. Carla Killen and Sonya Rice received the award at the group's annual gala last month.
"We are so honored to receive this recognition, especially knowing that members cast votes to make the selection," Sonya said.
PWC continues to expand outreach to civic and church groups throughout the area. These connections help grow our base of supporters as well as increasing awareness of our services to help reach women at their critical point of decision when facing an unplanned pregnancy.

The pro-life community in Missouri is watching closely a petition initiative aimed at gathering enough signatures to bring a constitutional amendment to voters in November 2024. Parkville Women's Clinic leadership is keeping up to date with other clinics and groups from across the state and will be keeping you informed as we have more information about these efforts to codify abortion rights in our state.
Missouri Right to life is holding a "Keep Missouri Pro-Life" Action Day at the Missouri State Capitol on Tuesday, March 12. Registration begins at 10 am. Learn more and view MRL's "decline to sign" resources by clicking the link below.
PWC is experiencing a record number of clients enrolled in our Smart Steps classes. These classes, which now can be accessed online, provide a wide range of parenting and life skills training, and are vital in helping build strong families. Clients receive diapers, clothing and other supplies as incentives throughout the process.
Due to the high demand, our supplies were dwindling recently but an appeal to supporters quickly yielded a restocking of core items. We want to send a big thank you to everyone who responded! The response was swift and overwhelming as is evident in the photo above!
If you are interested in keeping our shelves full, we are still in need of baby wipes and size 4, 5, 6 diapers.
