Everyday heroes power our Kingdom-driven mission and make our life-saving work possible. Today, we’re celebrating one of those heroes: Lisa DiOrazio, a local supporter who has found a creative way to give using her God-given talents.

Through her business, Happiness Handmade, Lisa donates a portion of her profits to support the mission of Parkville Women's Clinic, helping women and families in our community find hope and support when they need it most.

When asked why she gives, Lisa responded,

“PWC is an incredible resource for women with limited means and facing a crisis pregnancy. Having trusted, non-judgemental and free support can make ALL the difference! As a fellow Kansas Citian, I love knowing that my gift is having a local, tangible effect in my own community!”

Heroes like Lisa remind us that you don’t need a cape to make a difference. The completion of our new facility and our growing outreach are proof that God uses everyday people — armed with compassion, creativity, and courage — to save lives.
